Satay

Question: Why do we eat satay with the cucumber and nasi impit?

The answer: The rice or nasi impit eaten with satay is just to provide some carbohydrate to the meal but the cucumber serves a more important role in the meal. As you all know, when carbon got mixed with organic material, they form a chemical reaction which produces carcinogen and again as you all know that carcinogen is a major cause for cancer. So eating cucumber reverses the effect of carcinogen and thus pervents us foom getting Cancer. Plus, its also a good source of antioxidant which helps you stay young! According to the book Tibb An-Nabawi (The Medicine of the Prophet) by Al-Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyah, there are 4 classification of food that we eat. Hot, Cold, Wet and Dry. Meat is classified as a type of food that is hot and dry. To counter these effects, it has to be eaten with something cold and wet. Cucumber is cold and wet thus making it a perfect match for satay meat. So, remember to eat your cucumber when you eat your satay!

Map to my house

For those who are invited to my house this friday, here is the map to my house thanks to Google Maps.

Direction:-

From Uniten, Puchong, Kinrara and etc. -

Use LDP heading towards Shah Alam and look out for signboard to Balai Polis Putra Heights after Puchong Barat toll plaza. The junction is right before a flyover and if you can see a Shell Station on your left, you've gone too far...

From Shah Alam, Klang, PJ and Kuala Lumpur via Federal Highway:-

Route 1 (via Subang Jaya and USJ)-

Get yourself into USJ and go follow the direction to Puchong. On tour way you will see USJ NineTeen construction site, a Petronas Service Station with KFC and USJ 21 shoplots. then at the traffic lights after the shoplots, turn left into LDP highway. Keep left until you find a trumpet interchange with Huge Putra Heights signboard. Turn into that interchange and lookout for Balai Polis Putra Heights signboard.

Route 2 (via Sunway and Puchong Perdana) -

This way is the easiest. From the Suspension Bridge @ Motorola Interchange, head to sunway and keep right along the way until you reach Sunway Toll Plaza. After the RM 1.60 toll, go straight again keeping on your right along the way into puchong until you reach Puchong Barat Toll Plaza. After the toll plaza, lookout for Balai Polis Putra Heights .(same with those from uniten)

when you reach there...

follow the direction to Balai Polis Putra Heights. Go straight past a traffic light. It should lead you to a T junction right after a bridge across PLUS highway. take your left and follow the road until you see the police station. DON'T turn right to the police station but instead, go straight till you see another t junction. Turn to where the road doesn't have a dead end and turn left into the second junction (excluding the temporary minor junction) and go straight past a crossroads. After the crossroads, turn right into the housing area and tou will see a grocery shop. my house is right behind the shop across a playground.

So... come and join the program as there will be wery attractive prizes waiting for those who join..

Huaaaaa!!!!

Yesterday evening I was called in for a meeting with the committee of the program "Di Ambang Ramadhan" which includes Prof. Dr Ibrahim and a bunch of other staff. Everything went nice until the meeting was over and I start to invite my friends to the program. That is when I realize that this weekend will be the most hectic weekend ever... I did ask around to get people to join the program but they all said that they have commitments on other programs on that very weekend.

The very first person I called was Afiq from the ping pong club and he said that they also will be organising a ping pong tournament this weekend. Huh... pity them lah, dahlah this is their first program, aku pergi kacau pulak.. haiyoh... ntahlah... So I change my plan not to invite the students to our ping pong tournament. Then, oklah kot... (I hope )

After that, I ask Nan to join the cooking contest. Die pulak cakap die handle Malam Suai Kenal Kelab Wawasan... Lagi!!!... ilang lagi 2-3puluh orang... x pe lah... (kecewa)

Then I ask pulak Akram to join, die pulak say that he got the SRM Kayaking day... huhuhu...
(nak nangis dah)

I gt to know that there are several other prorgams going on this weekend... I wonder how I'm gonna get people to attend this program nih....
Sumebody... pleaseeee help me......
